G is for Gratitude #AtoZChallenge

8.4.15

This year my A to Z Challenge is all about wellbeing - something I'm particularly passionate about. Whether it's physical, emotional, mental, spiritual or even the wellbeing of my business, I'm passionate about it! Today it's all about Gratitude :D

Being grateful for what you have in life is so important. I know I am. I have such a wonderful life to be thankful for: a deeply loving husband, a father, brother and sister I love (even though I don't see them often) amazing friends, a warm and cozy home, cats and dogs who love us just as much as we love them, the ability to travel, people who buy my books and enjoy them.... there are so many things in my life that I'm thankful for - too many to list!
My Grandma and Mum, both of whom are no longer with us
I'm also deeply thankful to all those people I have loved and lost over the years, and sadly there have been many. But all of them came into my life to bring me something important, whether it was my mother to bring me life and love, Carol (my psychology & business studies teacher who became my father's girlfriend) who showed me the importance of reaching for self-realization or my husband's wonderful father and his wife who gave us so many lessons before they passed. I am grateful to all of them and I miss them all.
Tell me about you life. What are you grateful for?

  1. Keep gratitude as an attitude. There is so much to be grateful for if we just slow down and look around us.

You look so much like your mum! Beautiful ladies!

  2. You should always be grateful for everything you have in life! And I couldn't agree more - in some cases it really is missing. I try my best to thank the Lord for one thing every morning, and hopefully lots of different things come up ;) I hope the A-Z challenge continues to go well.
